FARM’D

An online farmers market that connects buyers and sellers of local food and provides logistics for up to next day delivery. The goal was to create a more transparent, accountable and delicious food system for both farmers and chefs; who care about what food is brought into their kitchens, who grew it and how. Farm’d strives to help farmers sell more of their product with a bigger return, while also sourcing and providing fresh food to area restaurants as quickly and cost effectively as possible.

Farm’d hired me to help take their MVP from barely useable to awesome. The new dashboard not only provides chefs a new way to source and purchase locally grown food online unlike any other current comparable marketplace, but also gives farmers the feedback and validation on their products that is sometimes lacking in a traditional farmers market.

TONED

I competed in a two hour design competition, hosted by Adobe, with the prompt of “Other Side” and created Toned.

Toned helps people who are either too optimistic or too pessimistic to see the other side of things they write more clearly. Users start by either writing text to be worked on, and then Toned uses natural language processing to identify words and phrases in the text that are slanted either happy or sad, and helps you change them to the ideal tone.

I won First Place Judges Choice and Second Place Peoples Choice!

PIPELINE

As a passion project to raise awareness about the world's water crisis, I designed a mobile game from conception including user research, surveys, persona creation, comp analysis, sketching, usability testing, high fidelity design, & defining game mechanics.

Pipeline is an interactive mobile game designed to inform players of the world’s water crisis, without them even realizing it.

Players get to walk around the world and provide 24 rural countries with access to water for the first time.

Collect all the countries flags to save the world from the water crisis!

E-League

E-League is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league that began broadcasting in the Summer 2016 on TBS. The league features 24 teams from across the world competing in two 10-week seasons, annually, for $1,400,000 USD in prize money. The league broadcasts the tournament live on TBS on Friday nights and simultaneously online on Twitch.

I worked as part of a team to design a mobile app by prioritizing and designing features that addressed users’ needs while satisfying the business requirements, which included creating fantasy teams, betting, account creation, and more.

SHOPPR & SELLR

A user-friendly solution that engages shoppers online & in-aisle to help drive traffic and sales for store owners. I designed a mobile app for shoppers, updated the MVP tablet app in beverage stores, and designed a desktop dashboard and a mobile app dashboard from UX research through QA & release. There are currently 250k+ monthly shoppers, 5M+ monthly impressions with a 5.6s avg. dwell time. 400+ tablets have been installed across US and Canada & apps are available for download.

After6

After₆ was looking for an overall audit to improve their app’s first-time-user-experience to increase their very low user engagement rate. After₆ is an app that helps you find where to go out at night by giving you a real time window into nearby restaurants, bars and events that are happening right around you. The only problem is - if no one is using the app, then there's no getting that inside look. I worked with a small team to redesign After₆ and the user feedback we got was surprising.

BevTV

I redesigned a desktop & mobile dashboard for two user types, redesigned an ecommerce tablet app, and connected & designed screens for enomatic machines. I also led a team design sprint, hosted A/B testing, observed users, updated user flows, designed from sketches to high fidelity, designed and tested interactions, and worked with the developers to build, QA, & release all products. The tablet app won first place in the "Best Multi-Case Floor Display" category at Beverage Dynamics magazine's Advertising and Promotion Awards. The company now has Jim Beam, Hornitos, Anheuser-Busch, Liquor.com & more as clients.

B.Y.O.T.T.

For a local e-commerce store, I was challenged to create something to help draw attention to their lowest selling items: succulents, containers, and small accessories.

Introducing - Build Your Own Tabletop Terrarium (B.Y.O.T.T.), a microsite! I worked with the information architecture and interface design to produce a site that is easily navigated by the user and conveys the brand image. The site will feature a how-to-guide and some pre assembled kits with everything you’d need to make a beautiful terrarium at home.
